Q. Where are you located?
We are located in Cottonwood, just a short 20-minute drive from Sedona and Verde Valley, giving you access to Sedona and more, like Mingus Mountain or Verde River. When you drive toward Sedona, it gives you a better view of the Sedona red rocks. If you’re coming from south of the Verde Valley, such as Phoenix, it’s much closer.
Q. How old does a driver need to be?
The primary renter must be at least 21. All drivers must be at least 18 and have a valid license.
Q. Can I bring my kids?
Plenty of families come and have a great time together riding an ATV! Children love it, and they’re welcome to ride with their families.
Q. Renter’s Insurance
We do require purchasing an insurance addendum for $18. This is required regardless of any automotive insurance you personally carry.
Q. What if I get lost or the vehicle breaks down?
We provide you with two different types of trail maps, so not many people get lost. But if you do get off trail, simply call us with as much info as you can about your location and we will guide you over the phone.
If you should experience a mechanical issue, call us with your location and we will come to you.
Q. What If I'm having so much fun I want to extend my reservation?
We are always happy to accommodate a longer rental if pending reservations allow it. Just give us a call and we will try our best. The sooner you let us know, the better!
Q. Can I drive the ATVs from your office to the trail, or do you need a vehicle with a trailer?
You can drive the ATVs from our office to the off-road trail because all of our vehicles are street legal. Most of our off-road trails start two miles away from our location. No need for a trailer here!
Q. How does the $1000 security deposit work?
We request preauthorization which means a “hold” of the security deposit from your bank at the time of rental. When you return the vehicle, we finalize the hold for just the rental amount.
Q. Are reservations required?
No, but it’s definitely a good idea, especially on holidays, weekends, or for larger groups. We can get booked up pretty quickly when it’s busy.
Q. Laws and Etiquette
We follow all laws regarding driving on and off the highway as well as safety rules. This means anyone under 18 is required to wear a helmet and eye protection at all times.
Please remember to share the trail with everyone. That’s going to include hikers, bikers, and horseback riders at times. Slow down when passing people and be mindful of kicking up dust or mud. Help us keep the trails open and the scenery beautiful for everyone. So of course, don’t leave any trash—pack it in, pack it out.
